Expression of interest: Feb 2021, Norway Winter Camp
As you know the Scouts have been looking at an international trip for quite some time now and this has been a result of that. While as some may recall, we were planning a trip to the International Scouts Centre in Switzerland, a popular site amongst UK scouts, we have found that it was too expensive. Instead, we are looking at a trip to Norway for a winter camp with all the usual activities. (see below)
Should we decide on the Norway winter trip, we will need to consider options to reduce the overall costs. To this end, we will have to do a number of fundraising activities, as well as tapping into some Scout grants in the run-up to the trip which in turn will reduce the overall cost of the trip.
We are also opening the trip to families (subject to the adults clearing the Scout’s DBS). This will mean that you can come as a family and even bring any siblings.
